PASHA Real Estate Group and Marriott International signed an agreement on 2 September, at The Ritz-Carlton, Baku, for three new hotel and residential projects across Azerbaijan and Georgia.

The headline project is The Ritz-Carlton Baku, Zagulba, a resort on the Absheron coast. In the city, PASHA plans a new tower within The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Baku — open since 2023 — adding 238 residences with their own amenities. In Georgia, the agreement covers a Le Méridien in Tbilisi’s Chugureti district.

The partnership is already substantial: PASHA and Marriott work together on The Ritz-Carlton, Baku, The St. Regis Baku, JW Marriott Absheron Baku and several other properties, including two Autograph Collection addresses in the mountains at Shahdag.

For a city that has long been read through its skyline, the move to the shore is telling. Baku’s next luxury chapter may be written by the sea.
